Rosacea
#23
Rosacea is a skin condition that causes redness, bumps/pimples, and enlarged blood vessels on the face. It can also affect other parts of the body, like the neck, ears, and chest. The exact cause of rosacea is still unknown, but triggers include sun exposure, spicy foods, alcohol, and stress.
Symptoms
Flushing, eye irritation, visible blood vessels, thickened skin on the nose, and a burning sensation are all signs that rosacea may be affecting you.
Treatment
Although there is no cure for rosacea, there are treatments such as oral/topical medicines, laser treatment, and surgery. Having a gentle skin-care routine, wearing sunscreen, and avoiding certain foods that trigger rosacea can also help prevent flare-ups.
